Vice Commander, Florida Wing, CAP
Lt Col Michael Cook has been active in Civil Air Patrol for 10 years in Operations and Emergency Services. He has served on the FLWG staff as Deputy Director of Operations and Deputy Director of Emergency Services. He also served as the Group 2 Operations Officer and as the Squadron Commander for Jacksonville Composite Squadron. He is a graduate of the Search Management Course and Region Staff College and has completed Level IV in Professional Development. He is a Mission Pilot and Type I Incident Commander.
Lt Col Cook served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years retiring in 1984. He is currently employed as the Production Manager and Senior Project Manager at North Florida Shipyard.
